Description

Flaming Flag tulip bulb with a maximum height of 45 cm. The bulb is sold loose, per piece. The tulip is considered a relatively easy plant.

Planting is done from early October until the end of November. It is important not to remove their hard outer shell, as this helps defend against pests. The bulb is placed with the tip upwards and the broad part downwards, covered with soil, and watered.

Blooming occurs from March until May, depending on the variety, with a flowering duration of about 15-20 days.

  • The ideal planting location is partial shade, protected from strong winds.
  • Avoid exposure to intense midday sun.
  • Planting strategy in groups with a 7-10 day interval for longer flowering duration.
  • Recommended planting depth is three times the height of the bulb.

Whether planted in a pot or in the ground, the best location is sheltered from strong winds and midday sun. For the garden, sandy soil with good drainage is used and can be enriched with manure or compost. For pots, the soil should be enriched with pumice.

After flowering, watering and fertilizing continue for 2-6 weeks until the leaves dry out. After this process, the bulb can be replanted in the spring.
