Queen of Night Tulip Bulb
Maximum height 55cm. The bulb is sold loose, per piece.
The tulip is considered a relatively "easy" plant. Planting is done from early October until the end of November. The hard outer shell is not removed, as it helps protect against pests. The bulb is placed with the tip facing upwards and the broad part downwards, covered with soil, and watered.
Flowering lasts from March to May, depending on the variety, with a flowering duration of about 15-20 days.
- Ideal planting location: partial shade and protection from strong winds.
- Avoid areas with intense sunlight and exposure to midday sun.
- Care is needed regarding planting depth: the planting depth should be three times the height of the bulb.
- Minimum planting depth for pots: 10cm.
The suitable location, whether in soil or in pots, is north-facing or sheltered. For the garden, sandy soil is used for excellent drainage, while for pots, outdoor soil enriched with perlite is used.
The bulbs come from the Netherlands and are resistant to winter conditions.
