    It smells wonderful, like a flower and not a fruit! It is very sweet in taste due to the glycerin. It leaves a shine but not as intense as a lip gloss, nor does it have the sticky texture of a lip gloss. It glides intensely like oil. Now, as a balm it doesn't do anything special in terms of hydration and nourishment for the lips. That's where it falls short, but it adds a bit of help, nothing more though
