Mercola pool paint is a two-component polyurethane coating for indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It can also be applied to water tanks, fountains and other water features, as well as concrete, cement screeds and metal surfaces when properly prepared. Its polyurethane formulation offers resistance to water, seawater, pool-cleaning chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion and mechanical wear.
Two coats are required on new surfaces. Apply by brush, roller, conventional spray gun or airless spray gun. Thin by up to 10% with DIL X 100. At 23°C, it is touch-dry in 6–8 hours and requires 7–14 days to cure fully before filling the pool with water.
