After 7 months since I finished it, I started it for a second time. The company is by far better at this kind of game. It took what was missing from Tushima and added it to Yotei. Jin Sakai's story is superior, but Yotei's is not uninteresting either. As for graphics, combat, exploration, it is better than its predecessor. It is worth playing once and even twice

A very good game and one of the most beautiful I have ever played. It was played on PS5 Pro and technically I encountered no problems. In terms of gameplay, it is superior to the first game, with a slightly weaker story but still quite good. If you liked the first one, you will definitely like this one too.

Ghost of Tsushima it isn't, but it is an honest game and has nice new mechanics. It's a shame it doesn't drop in price, of course, and it's still at €60 since the game won't get any more updates. Still, it's worth it

This review is about the edition: Standard

Personally, on the standard PS5, these are the best graphics and landscapes I have seen so far, a huge game with many things to do even after you finish it. The only drawback is its story and the main character; essentially, you start the game without knowing what's going on and only slowly understand what has happened. Still, it's definitely worth it as an experience.

Quite a good title with nice flow, simple scenario and the classic cinematic style of Sony. Even though the main character is a woman, she is much superior and more interesting than Sakai from Tsushima.

Just like Tsushima, the best quality game I have played in recent years. It’s a game that, before you take it out of your console to play the next one, you’ll want to get the platinum first. Even more addictive gameplay than the first, as it’s a bit more difficult I’d say. The story is top-notch, the protagonist and her story are very interesting. The music is perfect, the graphics are out of this world. I finished it in 60 hours and now I’m going to start from the beginning right away in new game plus. This is not a game, it’s an experience that will stay with you, from its bloody opening to its very last moment

Whatever one says about this title is not enough. Amazing graphics, beautiful story, nice combat system, and some of the best music I have encountered in a game. Personally, it took me 84 hours of gameplay and 96% progress to finish it, and I enjoyed every minute. Ghost of Tsushima is incredible and one of my favorites, and Ghost of Yotei is a worthy successor. We are eagerly awaiting the next one from Sucker Punch. Highly recommended, 100%.

The first part, Tsushima, was better, not that this one is bad but I think it doesn't have anything particularly fresh to offer. After a few hours I felt a bit bored, which I didn't feel in the first chapter. However, if you want something for your PS5 compared to what's out there right now, it's a relatively good purchase choice!

This review is about the edition: Standard

Having played its predecessor, one of my favorite games, I set the bar very high and personally I didn't get what I expected. The graphics are good but the movement and realism didn't impress me. The gameplay and combat are very good, the story is classic, the missions nothing special, a lot of dialogue which personally tired me. In the open world part I didn't find much of interest. If I hadn't played Ghost of Tsushima, maybe I would have a different opinion. Overall, a nice little game but it doesn't come close to its predecessor. Personally, I wouldn't vote it as game of the year, but that's subjective

One of the pleasant surprises of the year. It was technically flawless, with perhaps one of the best open world environments I have played. Not tiring at all and it made you want to explore every corner. It has improved on the issues of the previous one and is one of the most fun to play games of 2025.

    Positives
+ Excellent, deep, and precise combat system, with iconic duels
+ Beautiful graphics and impeccable artistic direction
+ Incredible Photo Mode, with lighting, filters, and poses that make every shot a work of art
+ The music blends Japanese instruments with Western cinematic elements, creating an epic feeling during battles and exploration

    Negatives
    - Shallow stealth and uninspired platforming

They have copied the script from AC Shadows and I also consider Shadows much better in the details and you are more liberated with more options, it's, how can I say, even more open world. For example, you have more weapon choices, not just swords but also axes, spears, etc. You can pass through plants and cut bamboo, you can see the bottom of the water while diving, you can throw your opponents off cliffs while fighting—none of these exist in Ghost. Nevertheless, I believe that both Ghosts have a unique gameplay style that prevents them from feeling monotonous and repetitive like Assassin's, and I give them credit for that.

The story is rather uninteresting, the same goes for the characters, you do pretty much the same things as in Ghost of Tsushima with everything that entails. I would say the graphics might even be worse than the previous one. Decent game, but for under 30, it's not worth more in my opinion

Excellent! A story that keeps you in suspense, plot twists, pacing exactly as it should be! After a long time, a game that made me want to see more! I liked it quite a bit more than Ghost of Tsushima! Treat yourself and enjoy it!

It's not like the first one. No matter what, a formidable enemy or a massive invasion gives you a different motivation. The story with the conflicted samurai who is forced to become a ghost also had a different weight. Here, there are many plot holes and not much variety in enemies

Much better than its predecessor with a much more interesting main character from the get go. I can’t stop exploring in this new map. I think it’s a vast improvement as a whole. Kudos to Sucker Punch for making something fresh for a sequel.

The story is rather uninteresting, the same goes for the characters, you do pretty much the same things as in Ghost of Tsushima with everything that entails. I would say the graphics might even be worse than the previous one. Decent game, but for under 30, it's not worth more in my opinion

This concerns the collector's edition overall, not the game itself which is very good! It definitely isn't worth the 249 it costs. Ok, a mask but without a steelbook or even a small art book! Prices have gotten out of hand

  • After 7 months since I finished it, I started it for a second time. The company is by far better at this kind of game. It took what was missing from Tushima and added it to Yotei. Jin Sakai's story is superior, but Yotei's is not uninteresting either. As for graphics, combat, exploration, it is better than its predecessor. It is worth playing once and even twice

  • A very good game and one of the most beautiful I have ever played. It was played on PS5 Pro and technically I encountered no problems. In terms of gameplay, it is superior to the first game, with a slightly weaker story but still quite good. If you liked the first one, you will definitely like this one too.

  • Ghost of Tsushima it isn't, but it is an honest game and has nice new mechanics. It's a shame it doesn't drop in price, of course, and it's still at €60 since the game won't get any more updates. Still, it's worth it

  • Personally, on the standard PS5, these are the best graphics and landscapes I have seen so far, a huge game with many things to do even after you finish it. The only drawback is its story and the main character; essentially, you start the game without knowing what's going on and only slowly understand what has happened. Still, it's definitely worth it as an experience.
