The Keychron K10 HE Special Wood Edition combines the aesthetics of natural wood with advanced Hall Effect technology. It features Gateron Double-Rail magnetic switches for adjustable actuation point (0.1mm), Rapid Trigger function, and Tri-Mode connectivity (2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C). With a 100% layout, PBT keycaps, and an aluminum frame, it is the ultimate choice for gaming and professional use.
Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches & Hall Effect Technology
The K10 HE features the innovative Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches, which eliminate physical contacts by using Hall Effect sensors. This architecture ensures lightning-fast response and exceptionally long lifespan, as it eliminates friction wear. The double-rail design offers unparalleled stability when pressing keys, while the switches are factory pre-lubed for an absolutely smooth feel. The magnetic technology allows for pressure depth detection with 0.1 mm precision, giving the user complete control over the keyboard’s behavior.
Special Wood Edition Design & Construction
The Special Wood Edition stands out for its luxurious construction that combines an aluminum frame with inlaid touches of real rosewood. The natural wood offers a unique texture and aesthetic, whether in the light (White version) or dark (Black version) variant. The set is completed with Double-shot PBT Keycaps in OSA (spherical-angled) profile. These keycaps provide an ergonomic finger angle and exceptional durability, ensuring that the legends will not fade and the surface will not become glossy from long-term use.
Adjustable Actuation & Dynamic Rapid Trigger
The Hall Effect technology allows you to customize the actuation point of each key individually, within a range from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm, with a sensitivity step of 0.1 mm. The Dynamic Rapid Trigger function redefines gaming by enabling the activation and reset of keys based on travel distance rather than a fixed point. This eliminates latency in repeated keystrokes. Additionally, features such as Last Keystroke Priority (LKP) and Snap Click are supported, optimizing direction changes in FPS games by prioritizing the deepest or last keystroke.
Advanced Control: Dynamic Keystrokes & Analog Mode
Through the Keychron Launcher Web App, the user can assign up to 4 actions per key with the Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS) feature, depending on the depth of the press (e.g. light press for walking, deep press for running). At the same time, the Analog Mode turns the keyboard into an analog controller, allowing variable intensity control in racing games and simulators. The firmware is based on QMK, offering unlimited programming possibilities, macros, remapping, and the creation of complex key combinations that are stored directly in the device’s memory.
Tri-Mode Connectivity & High-Performance Hardware
The system is powered by a powerful MCU with 256K Flash memory. It offers three connection modes: Wireless via 2.4 GHz with Polling Rate 1000 Hz for lag-free gaming performance, via Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting up to 3 devices (PC, Tablet, Smartphone), and wired via USB Type-C. The internal structure includes sound-insulating EVA 3.5 mm foam, EPDM foam, and silicone for robust acoustics (thocky sound). It features South-facing RGB lighting and new stabilizers screwed onto the PCB with reinforced walls for ultimate stability on large keys.

The Keychron K10 HE Special Edition (Black & Wooden) is the answer to the 'plastic' and overpriced mainstream mechanical market (see: Razer). It’s a board for keyboardphiles who don’t settle for gimmicks.
Design & Unboxing: Apple Aesthetics, DIY Philosophy
First Impression: The unboxing experience and manual are Apple-level. The build quality—metal chassis and wooden details—makes it a true gem.
Complete Package: Unlike Apple’s closed ecosystem, here the company provides all the necessary tools for full disassembly and customization. It’s a tinkerer’s delight and the ideal stepping stone into the world of custom keyboards.
No Gimmicks: The absence of a screen (TFT/OLED) is a blessing. On such a design, any screen would be out of place. If you have a large OLED monitor, a little screen on the keyboard is just unnecessary noise.
Hall Effect (HE) Technology & Gaming
Analog Feel: First time on HE and the analog keystroke changes everything. Pressure is no longer binary (on/off), offering smoothness.
Xbox Mode: The ability for analog movement (gradual transition from walking to running) is technologically impressive, even if native support in games is still limited. The hardware, however, is ready.
Keycaps & Sound
Acoustics: The click sound is deep, robust, and perfectly balanced. The 'just right' that’s hard to find in prebuilt boards.
Quality vs Lighting: The double-shot PBT keycaps offer top-tier texture. The desire for shine-through letters is understandable for darkness, but technically at odds with PBT quality. However, for someone who types with muscle memory, the lack of backlit letters is just a detail.
Conclusion
At €125-130, the K10 HE offers quality and technology you find in €250+ categories. It’s an enthusiast-high-end proposal at a reasonable price... (always compared to what’s available on the market and at what price).
Το Keychron K10 HE Special Edition (Black & Wooden) αποτελεί την απάντηση στην «πλαστική» υπερτιμημένη αγορά των mainstream mechanicals (βλ. Razer).
Τεχνολογία Hall Effect (HE) & Gaming
Το "just right" που δύσκολα βρίσκεις σε έτοιμα boards.
From the very first moment, the spacebar and backspace did not work properly. Sometimes they wouldn't register at all, other times they worked randomly. Unfortunately, this problem is common for many users of the K10 HE.
This particular keyboard is full size, with quality switches. You won't find the slightest trace of "cheap plastic." Sturdy construction from metals and the keycaps are very beautiful and of high quality.
Braided cable that attaches to the side of the keyboard so that if you want, you can pull it from the edge of the desk and it won't be in the way. In the box, there are tools to remove switches and keys, as well as to disassemble the keyboard if you want to make changes to the interior.
I would say that keyboards like this are literally one step before custom. So if someone wants to get involved and has the time and money, it's the ideal choice.
You will find replacement keys for Alt-WinKey-Esc etc. since with the press of a switch you can use it either with Windows or Mac (the functions of the aforementioned keys change). The wooden details make the difference and really make it stand out from the competition.
I recommend it 100%.
*Maybe if I had to find a negative, it would be that I would prefer transparent keycaps, but that's definitely a matter of preference.
I will simply say that I feel very bad for discovering the company so late. Excellent build quality. I have used various keyboards from mainstream companies (Razer, Corsair, Logitech) and Ducky. This one has the best typing feel of all and, aesthetically, it is the most beautiful. Its price is just right and that says a lot in combination with the above. It is 100% value for money and I recommend it unreservedly to everyone, acquaintances and not. 140-150 is ok. It doesn't have RGB settings like Razer but it also doesn't require you to install a program, it's a web app and it gives you very good control of its capabilities as well. Excellent!

Excellent!
