The neodymium magnet and lightweight aluminum diaphragm contribute to its compact design and high sound pressure level. The CCAR (Copper Clad Aluminium Ribbon) voice coil offers increased thermal and mechanical resistance, while the screw terminals make connection easy.

The housing is sealed and UV-protected for outdoor use. The Kit version includes a metal grille and an in-line crossover filter.
