The design of the Kidizi pillow has been created considering the infant's anatomy and features a definitive angled area in the center. This angled area is positioned very close to the base of the pillow, which is very low to properly support the neck and spine (a distance or height that is too large would cause unnecessary pressure on the neck). A specially shaped corner in the center helps distribute the baby's head pressure evenly, contributing to the harmonious shaping of the cranial cavity and simultaneously protecting the neck. The side areas are raised to perfectly cradle the baby's head and provide a comfortable and correct position, keeping the baby's head properly aligned with the spine.
Material Quality and Attention to Detail
The Kidizi head support pillow against plagiocephaly includes two covers – an inner cover made of polypropylene and an outer cover made of 100% certified cotton, soft to the touch. The interior is filled with Oeko-Tex certified siliconized down. The presence of two covers ensures the filling stays inside and also allows the pillow to be safely washed multiple times (the accompanying pillow can be washed entirely).
Ease of Use and Practicality
It is very practical as it can be used almost anywhere where the child rests or sleeps: crib, stroller, playpen, etc. Unlike other models, the Kidizi pillow has slightly raised sides to prevent the baby's head from slipping and to keep it in the desired position. Suitable for babies from birth up to at least 12 months. It helps prevent plagiocephaly and may reduce mild head deformities – it can be used both for prevention and correction.
