They are 2 times thinner than silk fibers, 3 times thinner than cotton fibers, 8 times thinner than wool, and 100 times thinner than human hair. Products made from microfibers are incredibly soft to the touch and very lightweight. The fabric has a lovely drape.
Microfibers are smaller than 1.0 denier. Thus, the duvet is very light like down, soft and hugs the body. In the summer months, it provides coolness and comfort, while in winter it acts as an excellent insulator without giving a sensation of cold or chill. It is easy to use because it can be machine washed.
