The battery is of open type and requires periodic inspection and/or maintenance. Every two months, the fluid level should be checked, which must not fall below the minimum mark. Refilling is done exclusively with deionized water and not with electrolyte. During long periods of inactivity, periodic charging helps optimize its lifespan.
The battery is not factory activated and includes electrolyte in a container for initial filling. The activation process is done at the time of receipt.
