This manual was created with a clear goal: to serve as a practical, comprehensive, and user-friendly guide for the candidates of the 4th Entrance Competition of the National School of Judicial Officers (ESDi), who are seeking positions as judicial officers.

According to Ministerial Decision 29240 oik./21-05-2025 (Government Gazette 23/ASEP issue) by the Ministers of National Economy and Finance – Justice, the second stage of the competition includes an oral examination covering all subjects previously tested in writing. Candidates are examined in groups, answer theoretical or practical questions, and are evaluated not only on their knowledge but also on their overall presentation during the competition.

The procedure takes place at the Supreme Court or the Athens Court of Appeal, is public, and allows all examinees to observe other groups before their own, in order to reduce anxiety and become better acquainted with the environment.
