The Sequoia: Expansion Pack adds a 6th player, an alliance variant, and the Negative Value expansion to this dice-rolling and area majority style game.
The Negative Value expansion modifies the area scoring for certain regions to negative values. In these cases, players with the least influence in the region lose points, as opposed to players with the most influence who gain points.
Additionally, this expansion increases the maximum number of players to 6, which can be applied both to the base game and to the alliance variant or the Negative Value expansion.
The alliance variant pairs players into teams, so their combined influence counts for the area majority, and both allies of the most successful team are the winners.
