NAS from the company Ugreen in Tower form, is mainly intended for home use. NAS devices host hard drives, helping with large-scale data storage securely. They connect directly to the Router, creating a personal cloud and making files accessible from any device you have, without worrying about storage space.

Main features:

  • Memory: 8GB RAM DDR5
  • Ports: USB for connecting devices such as printers and HDMI for connection to a monitor or TV
  • Support for up to 2 disk units HDD/SSD
  • RAID capability 0, 1, JBOD

RAID 0 is used for speed, as it adds the speed of all disks. If even one disk fails, all data is lost. RAID 1 offers mirroring between disks, where whatever is written on one disk is automatically saved on the other, allowing the system to continue operating even if one disk fails. JBOD concerns Apple systems, allowing the configuration of the combined space using 2 or more disks, and in case of failure of one disk, data recovery is possible from the others.
