The Sonoff Dongle Plus MG24 gateway connects ZigBee and Thread devices to home automation platforms such as Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, openHAB, and ioBroker. It is based on the EFR32MG24 chip and operates as a ZigBee coordinator or router, Thread RCP, or MultiPAN device for simultaneous ZigBee and Thread use.

The detachable antenna has a gain of up to 4.5 dBi, and the range reaches up to 200 m in open space. The package includes a 1 m USB extension cable, while roles can be changed and firmware updated via SONOFF Dongle Flasher in about one minute.
