The pulsator intermittently checks the vacuum for the milking liners. Important features of the pulsator:

• Pulse period: 120 pulses per minute (pulse rate). This rate can be precisely adjusted by a screw located on the body of the pulsator.
• Pulse ratio: 50/50 (the amount of time the vacuum is allowed to pass in one pulse cycle).

The pulsator should be cleaned periodically, at least once a month. Remove the pulsator cover and use a toothbrush to clean the air filter and the entire interior. Use of lubricating oil or detergents is prohibited, as they cause permanent damage to the pulsator mechanism.
