The jar is microwave-safe without the lid, with a maximum temperature difference of 42 °C. It must not be used in a conventional oven or on electric or induction cooktops. The jar is dishwasher-safe, while the lid should be hand-washed without detergent. A new lid is required for each new vacuum-preserving process.
