Sika Sikaflex 529 AT polyurethane sealant is designed for sealing seams and joints in vehicle bodies and protecting against stone chips. It can be applied with a spray gun as a spray or bead, and can reproduce factory textures. It adheres to primers and 2-component paints, metals, and painted plastics, while helping reduce noise and vibration.
This one-component product contains no isocyanates, solvents, silicone, or PVC, and cures through exposure to moisture. It is ready to use and can be painted over after skin formation with compatible water-based or suitable 2-component paint systems. A skin forms in approximately 15 minutes at 23°C, while the full curing time depends on the thickness and conditions. While the material is still fresh, tools can be cleaned with Sika Remover-208; once cured, it can only be removed mechanically.
