The Galcon splitter is installed on a single-stage battery timer, allowing the water flow to switch between the two outlets when watering begins. This facilitates converting single-stage timers into dual-stage timers, enabling watering of two different areas of the garden or balcony. It is adaptable to any timer, and its operation is simple and automatic. The arrow position on the splitter indicates the direction of water flow at the start of watering and changes direction upon shut-off, directing water to the other outlet on the next watering cycle.

Additionally, it is possible to water both directions daily, provided the timer has at least two daily start times. The Galcon splitter can be used, for example, for watering potted plants from one outlet and the lawn from the other, or for garden plants and vegetable patches.

Proper operation requires a water pressure of 1 atm or higher, and it withstands up to 10 atm static pressure, providing a flow rate of up to 1.2 m³/h.
