The Drive Box EDC15/ME7 is an OBD2 decoder that allows the immobilizer to be deactivated (IMMO OFF) for control units of types EDC15 (Diesel) and ME7 (Patrol). The EDC15 control unit is used in diesel engines and is installed in models of VW, AUDI, SEAT, and SKODA from 1999 onwards.
The ME7 unit is compatible with patrol engines from 1.6 I and is also found in models of VW, AUDI, SEAT, and SKODA. The control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1 are also supported.
Instructions for use: Simply connect the Drive Box EDC15/ME7 to the diagnostic port in the car (OBD2). Then, set the OBD2 to "OFF" on the Drive Box. After 20 to 30 seconds, the immobilizer is deactivated. The LED indicator of the tool will start blinking slowly and, after a while, will blink rapidly, indicating that the IMMO function is deactivated. The car will be able to operate without the Transponder key.
Recovery: Set the Drive Box to "ON." After 20 to 30 seconds, the immobilizer is reactivated (IMMO ON).

Important note: It is not compatible with 1.8T and 2.0TFSI models, as well as with 1.4 and 1.6 patrol engines. This tool is sold exclusively to authorized professionals and automotive technicians.
