SALEWA constructs the precise upper of the Wildfire 2 from sturdy, recycled mesh and reinforces it with a Kevlar cable network that wraps around the foot for flexibility, fit, and improved torsional stability and heel support. The Wildfire 2 quickly and easily switches from hiking mode to climbing mode using the SALEWA® Switchfit adjustment system, offering better edging and smearing and overall security on technical terrain.

The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) provides an adjustable fit, for narrower or wider comfort. To face the harshest weather conditions, the Wildfire GTX features a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that provides waterproof and breathable protection. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole features a climbing zone on the toe and aggressive lugs for good grip on mud and softer ground, while S-Path technology ensures a more natural roll-off. The sticky POMOCA rubber provides good traction in both dry and wet conditions.
