The boy’s stumbles through the narrow streets of the market caused whispers and comments: “This boy will either get lost stumbling through his dreams or become a great explorer of the seas.” Many years after the disappearance of his mother, N-deb, a sixteen-year-old boy, lives a predictable life at the port of Calineia. Watching the ships arriving with the most beautiful objects from the East, he dreams of a life at sea.
