Board Game Persian chess is a tabletop game of battle and strategy for 2 players. It is played on the "chessboard," a grid of 64 squares alternately colored black and white, arranged in an 8x8 dimension. Each player has 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The goal is to achieve checkmate against the opponent's king.
