At the start of the game, each player has 21 balls in a different colour. Taking turns, they place their balls in the upright stand, with the holes facing upwards. Players try to connect their balls to form a vertical, diagonal or horizontal line, while preventing their opponent from doing the same. The winner is the first player to connect 4 balls of their colour horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

The stand also serves as a storage case for the balls when the game is over.
