The Meade EclipseView reflector telescope is designed for observing the sky during the day and at night. It includes a removable white-light filter for solar viewing, as well as a red-dot finder for nighttime use and a solar finder for daytime use. For nighttime viewing, remove the filter and switch the finder.
The Newtonian reflector optical design is paired with an f/9.2 focal ratio and a rack-and-pinion focuser. The full-size aluminum tripod features locking knobs and an accessory tray.
