Tactical board game for 2 players.
Each player starts with 9 pieces, and the game is played in two stages. First, the players take turns placing their pieces on any of the 24 points they choose, trying to form a mill—that is, three pieces in a row. Once all the pieces have been placed, each player takes turns moving one piece to form a mill or, if that is not possible, to set one up while preventing the opponent from forming one. Pieces move along the lines, vertically and horizontally, but not diagonally. Whenever a player forms a mill, they remove one of their opponent’s pieces, making sure it is not part of an already formed mill. The winner is the player who leaves their opponent with fewer than three pieces or blocks them so they cannot move.
