The model was primarily assembled at the factory in the city of Witz am Rhein in Rhineland-Palatinate, Western Germany, which is considered the largest truck assembly plant in Europe.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros made its debut in the commercial market in 1996 and quickly gained recognition, winning the title of "International Truck of the Year" four times (1997, 2004, 2009, and 2012). By 2003, the first generation of this successful truck was produced, while in 2011, the second generation, known as MP4, was introduced into production.
The figure features 6- and 8-cylinder engines with maximum power ranging from 320 HP to 600 HP, and is renowned for its high work ethic.
