The Henschel Hs123 is a German single-engine biplane and dive bomber used at the beginning of World War II. Its prototype flight took place on May 8, 1935, and from 1936 the aircraft entered service. Despite delays in construction due to the war, the Hs123 remained in service until 1944. It performed well during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and participated in many significant military operations, including the Polish campaign and the Western front in 1940. The Hs123 was equipped with a 9-cylinder BMW 132 Dc star engine with 880HP power.
