Its consistent diameter has a tolerance of ±0.02 mm, while the winding is designed to reduce tangles during printing. The built-in RFiD chip works with the Anycubic Color Engine Pro, sold separately, to identify the filament type and adjust printing parameters.

PLA is made from lactic acid produced by fermenting corn starch or other plants and is biodegradable. The recommended nozzle temperature is 200–210 °C, and the heated bed temperature is 50–60 °C.
