They are "second grade" Salomon (made in India) with everything that entails. They fit well and are a bit stiff at first but break in over time. I got them because of the price (85 euros) and they have a nice design compared to the overly futuristic Salomons on the market. Overall, a good shoe for mixed use in the city and mountains, but the big disappointment came with the first rain, where it became clear that Goretex is only in name...
