In the forests of Massachusetts, about one hundred and eighty years ago, a man meets a small owl. He lives alone in nature, seeking the essence of life, trying to learn what it has to teach him. She is a simple bird. The two creatures study each other; they communicate silently; they connect. And then each continues on their path, changed.

Each of the "Stories from a Better World" is inspired by a true or fictional story that highlights a feeling or an idea. In a world that seems gray and where people have begun to believe that we are doing everything wrong, the stories in the series emerge like fresh sprouts, showing us hope – and that the beauty and wonder of the world still remain all around us, as long as we let our senses and hearts seek them out.
