The Paulter backpack is waterproof and features a padded laptop compartment, as well as separate sections for clothing, footwear, and small items. The main compartment opens from three sides and includes elastic straps with clips to secure clothing, plus an internal zippered mesh pocket. The base compartment has ventilation openings and a lining that extends into the main compartment.

The back panel and both adjustable shoulder straps have sweat-resistant padding, while a horizontal strap connects the shoulder straps. The backpack has two handles, on the top and side, side straps with clips for stability, and a hanging loop. The horizontal strap on the back allows it to be attached to a suitcase trolley.
