I chose them because of the good reviews. They are warm. The quality did not satisfy me at all, as they constantly shed (even after 4 washes), resulting in black fuzz everywhere.

No comparison to the cotton socks I used to wear for years. They are much warmer, softer, and more comfortable. However, I deduct 2 stars because on my first application, they shed a lot of fuzz - fluff.
