Description

Home Cinema projector Photon Go by Optoma, with Full HD (1080p) resolution. The throw ratio indicates the width of the image produced by the projector when placed at a specific distance from the screen. For example, a throw ratio of 1.3:1 means the image will be 1 meter wide when the projector is placed 1.3 meters from the screen. This model is an ultra short throw projector with a Throw Ratio of 0.18:1, which is less than the 0.40:1 that characterizes this category. Practically, this means you can place it below or above the projection surface, eliminating any obstacles, making it useful in small spaces or presentations.

The projection technology is the method by which the projector's lamp light is converted into an image to be projected through the lens onto a surface. This model uses DLP technology and has a laser-type lamp, which has a longer lifespan compared to LED lamps, as well as very high brightness and excellent color and black performance.
This technology is named after the initials of Digital Light Processing, the most widespread projection technology, and there are projectors with one or three DLP chips. The image is created when the projector's lamp light passes through a rotating color wheel and is reflected by a chip that contains hundreds of thousands of microscopic mirrors, each corresponding to a pixel. This chip is called a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device). They are suitable for well-lit environments, such as classrooms or conference rooms, and offer good color performance.

Brightness and contrast, or contrast ratio, are two very important features considered along with the projection distance and the maximum diagonal size you want to achieve when choosing a projector. This model has a brightness of 650 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2500000:1.
Contrast indicates the difference between the darkest and brightest parts of an image and is an indicator of image quality. The image projected by a projector with a low contrast ratio appears faded and flat. Conversely, with a high contrast ratio, it appears more realistic and with greater "depth".
Brightness indicates how much light the projector can deliver on a specific surface size. The general rule suggests that brighter projectors are preferred in well-lit spaces or with multiple light sources, while darker projectors are preferred in dark environments.

It is equipped with Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port, so you can connect wirelessly or wired to your local network and stream online content or download software updates. The wireless Bluetooth connection allows you to connect devices with the same technology, such as your mobile phone.
