Lutein is found in high concentrations in the macula, the part of the retina responsible for detailed vision. In addition to its strong antioxidant action, lutein also acts as a natural filter for ultraviolet radiation, protecting the macula. The lutein contained in Eyewise is of plant origin (from Tagetes erecta), ensuring high absorption and bioavailability. The supplement also contains standardized extracts of bilberry, grapeseed, and blackberry, which have strong antioxidant properties, especially for the eye. It is suitable for vegetarians and does not contain gluten, wheat allergens, barley, soy, eggs, milk (and derivatives), lactose, nuts, or sulfites.
