Description

DESIGNED BY PROFESSIONALS. BUILT TO WIN.

The innovative legacy of CORSAIR, which began with the legendary, award-winning K70, presents the keyboard of the future. The VANGUARD 96 PRO combines proven esports engineering and years of feedback from fans for uncompromising performance and versatility.

Professional-level response

Win with the power of magnets! MGX switches can have dynamically reprogrammable actuation points, allowing for quick touches that do not require physical reset of the switch. You can even hotswap your favorite compatible magnetic switches.

UNMATCHED SPEED

Gain the advantage when milliseconds matter most with ultra-fast 8,000Hz hyper-polling. Eliminate input lag and ensure your in-game actions and streaming commands are sent instantly.

FAST TRIGGER

Win with the power of magnets! MGX Hyperdrive switches can have dynamically reprogrammable actuation points, allowing for rapid keystrokes that do not require the key switch to physically reset.

Flashtap SoCD

With CORSAIR FlashTap SOCD Handling, you can choose how the keyboard handles simultaneous opposite cardinal direction (SOCD) inputs, so you can move the way you want.

96% FORM FACTOR

This is a full keyboard with arrow keys, a ten-key control pad, an excellent LCD screen, 6 programmable G-keys, and a rotary dial. It is also extremely compact, comparable in size to a TKL keyboard, which gives gamers more space to make big plays.

LIVE LCD SCREEN

Personalize your keyboard to a whole new level with a brilliant, innovative 1.9" IPS color display, 320 x 170, which you can use to display custom animations, images, rotary dial integration, and much more.

DETAILED CONSTRUCTION

The sleek, sculpted aluminum frame perfectly complements the elegant and compact design of the keyboard. The low profile of the 6 G-keys makes them easy to locate, but difficult to press accidentally.

VIRTUAL STREAM DECK

The Elgato Stream Deck allows you to assign important functions directly to the G keys. Use the Virtual Stream Deck to create a series of in-game shortcuts for all your games and unlock a world of flexibility and performance.

Excellent keyboard, the Hall Effect Switches are cool, but okay, it's not something that will change your life. The little screen is a nice gimmick but a bit useless because you can't see it well since it's behind the keys.
Very good build quality, very nice, but I don't know if it's really worth that much money though.

  • I received the keyboard today.
Sturdy construction, high quality—you immediately understand that this is not just an ordinary keyboard.
After installing Corsair's iCUE software, I easily mapped the key combinations I wanted to the side keys, as well as set a light permanent backlight so the letters are more visible.
It was also easy to adjust the light on the Caps Lock key for distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase.
The keyboard was purchased for coding and, as it seems, it will make things much easier. It also looks like it will last for years—we shall see!

I have been using mechanical keyboards for the last 15+ years. Corsair has always been one step ahead. This particular one is... perhaps the best I have ever bought, with its magnetic mechanical switches being by far the best I have ever had (+ the fact that they are swappable), which is excellent. And as for noise, unbeatable—almost silent (I have been a gamer for over 20+ years... perfect in this aspect too). Its software had some issues, but (3-4 days ago a new firmware was released and everything is fine). I set it up with Corsair Hub and I'm perfectly happy since I didn't want iCUE installed just for one keyboard. I have a Lian Li environment for lighting and fans and Asus for peripherals, so I didn't want yet another application

As a keyboard, I liked it. The problem is its software is terrible. The "H" key gets stuck on a specific color, when the PC turns on many times it doesn't recognize the keyboard, etc...

These problems will probably be fixed in future firmware updates. Until then, however, I do not recommend it.

Very nice feeling when typing. Compact keyboard. The screen is not fully visible when sitting. There is still no support in iCUE, only online for its customization, something that they say will be available in the future. Overall satisfied.

Very good keyboard but it takes some time to get used to it because the keys are somewhat "compressed" to justify the small size, something I hadn't noticed from the pictures. It also has the corresponding "Game mode" where the keys are activated with a simple touch without needing to press them all the way down to register a command, which also takes some getting used to because in the first few days I made a lot of "mistakes" even though I was already coming from a mechanical keyboard, but the response is completely different
