What kind of students or citizens do we envision, and also have a duty to create through mathematical education? Math literate individuals!

This book aims to provoke thought among all those involved in mathematical education as well as education in general, guiding towards a direction that connects school with society and the future. How, then, can schools cultivate and enhance students' abilities so that they become future-thinking, creative, and active citizens who want to keep pace with the developments of our times?

By shifting the focus within a mathematics classroom from teaching students "what to think" to teaching them "how to think," we aim to create not only students who know mathematics but also to equip them with all the necessary tools so that, without economic, social, or gender-based barriers, they can become mathematically literate individuals!
