It was bought purely for winter mountain use with crampons. My impressions so far are, in order: comfortable, quite warm—if you wear a thick mountaineering sock your foot will sweat, so it's better to use a thin technical one. So far it has been tested on the following peaks: Ziria, Velouchi, Kakarditsa, and Astrapi. I paid 280 but I don't regret it. The only downside is that the laces don't tighten, so you need a technical way to secure them.
Note: it only takes Semi fast.
