Nettle consists of the above-ground parts of the plant and comes from Greece, from the Pierian Mountains in the Imathia regional unit. It is used to prepare an herbal infusion or for washes.

To prepare the infusion, pour a cup of boiling water over one tablespoon of crushed nettle or a pinch of whole nettle in a covered container. Leave for 10–15 minutes, then strain. For washes, prepare the infusion using 50–60 g per liter of water. Store in a dark, cool place at a temperature of 5–15 °C.
