Dried mint contains the above-ground parts of the plant and is used in herbal teas and cooking. To prepare an infusion, pour a cup of boiling water over one tablespoon of crushed mint or a pinch of whole mint in a covered container. Leave to steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain.
The mint is grown in the Imathia region. Store in a cool, dark place at 5–15 °C. Excessive consumption may cause heartburn or allergic reactions; avoid if you have gastroesophageal reflux or sensitivity to its ingredients. During pregnancy, use only on the advice of a specialist.
