History, Mythology, and Plant Morphology: Malotira (Sideritis spp.) thrives in the mountainous regions of Greece and the Mediterranean. Its name is linked to the ancient Greek word "sideros" (iron), due to the tradition that it strengthens the blood and vitality. It is collected from the Pieria Mountains and traditionally used for preparing infusions.

Properties:

• Rich in iron, useful for combating iron-deficiency anemia.
• Warming and soothing effects that help in treating colds.
• Antitussive action, helpful in cases of respiratory problems.

Usage: 1 tablespoon of crushed mountain tea is poured with 1 glass of boiling water in a covered container, left for 10-15 minutes, and strained before use. Ideal for both vegetarians and vegans.
