The Meross GS559AHK-EU standalone smoke detector connects via Wi-Fi and sounds an alarm when it detects smoke. If multiple detectors are used, smoke detected by one device also triggers the others. It also detects overheating and sends notifications via the Meross or Apple Home apps.

Up to 16 devices can be controlled through the apps, and triggers can be set to control other Meross devices. It is compatible with Apple HomeKit and SmartThings. A HUB, which is not included, is required to connect it to a unified system. The alarm is powered by two included AA batteries.
