Fate is a cooperative board game where players take on the roles of talented but untrained heroes. Together, they protect the source of Freyja against trolls, the dead, and fire monsters approaching from all sides of the board. Each time a monster enters Grimheim, a part of the city is destroyed. Players lose if the city is completely destroyed, but win if at least the source of Freyja remains when she returns at the end of the game.
