    I expected it to be of fake construction but I was proven wrong as soon as I picked up and lifted the box. The only negative is that if the so-called "nerve" (support bar) on the table or desk is small or non-existent, you have a problem. Since I have it on a table and the support bar leaves no distance from the edge, the clamp barely held on and was sticking out, and if you pulled it, it would fall. I had to get a wood cutting tool and remove a piece from the support bar so the base could grip properly. Other than that, everything else is perfect. You can adjust the height and distance of the monitor from you, tilt it forwards and backwards, left and right, and rotate it as if it were a car steering wheel. There are screws that act as brakes so the screen doesn't move at the slightest touch. At first, I hesitated to buy this particular one because I didn't know if it would be compatible with the monitor I have (LG 32" Ultragear Curve) due to the curvature, even though the VESA mount matched the dimensions, but it fit perfectly. I threw away the monitor's original base.
