Through texts and publications in the media, I try to narrate snapshots from the ongoing adventure of Secondary Technical-Vocational Education in Greece. Since 2004, when my previous book "1997 and seven - the great adventure of TVE" was published, until 2014.
However, the last year, with the brutal layoffs and the closure of sectors and specialties, has marked us as educators, as unionists, and as human beings. It has made many colleagues reevaluate their lives with a different perspective.
To reconsider things and values. To feel a lot of pain. And, on the other hand, to discover once again our own availability in solidarity and struggle. To feel proud and strong against those who have "trimmed" us with their signatures.
And our students alongside us, together in the claims: To have sectors and specialties return to schools. For educators to come back. It will happen, kids, and it will be "high noon".
