The Extralink Jennifer protection is used at the point where the main fiber-optic cable branches into cables running to customers in PON networks. The enclosure accommodates fiber-optic splices, splitters, and mounting components, while keeping connections and network access organized. It features a midspan-type entry for the main cable and Huawei connectors on the bottom, allowing a new customer to be connected without opening the box. Compatible patch cables are sold separately.
Cables, pigtails, and patch cables can be installed independently without affecting one another. The protection can be mounted on a wall or pole, indoors or outdoors, and has a sealed construction to protect against moisture, water, and dust.
