The guide divides the vast area of London into 8 central sections. The remaining area is divided into 3 major geographical sectors: North, East, and Southwest London. The map shows the location and extent of each section in different colors. On the following pages, each area has a color code that corresponds to the respective color of the area on the map. Almost every place mentioned in the text is accompanied by a code that leads you to the larger maps on the covers.
