The Proline 18624 socket is a long, hexagonal socket designed for use with pneumatic tools. The PRO DRIVE system, with specially shaped edges between the working surfaces, reduces excessive point loading and protects the screw head edges and the socket’s working surfaces from excessive wear.

It is made of tool steel and has undergone heat and chemical treatment, including chrome plating for corrosion protection. Its manufacturing process includes die forging and calibration before hardening and degreasing. Its strength exceeds the requirements of DIN 3124 and PN-ISO 1711.
