Loctite 572 thread sealant is used to lock and seal metal pipes and fittings with coarse threads. Its thixotropic, one-component formula offers medium strength, while its slow cure allows minor adjustments to parts after application and assembly.
It cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces and helps prevent loosening and leaks caused by shock and vibration. Suitable for thread sizes up to M80, it also makes disassembly easier.
