Its reduced protein, phosphorus and sodium content helps reduce the workload on the kidneys, while its alkalising properties help prevent the formation of urinary stones.
It is not suitable for puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, or dogs with liver failure associated with impaired bile secretion, pancreatitis or hyperlipidaemia.
