Love 2 Hate: Comics is an expansion with 108 cards introducing a superhero and villain theme to the original board game Love 2 Hate. It includes new starting and finishing suggestion cards that can be combined with the base game for added variety. Although Love 2 Hate: Comics is designed as an expansion, it can also be played as a standalone game, providing a thematic experience without needing the original game. It is a card game for 3 to 8 players aged 14 and above.
Example of gameplay:
- The judge's turn: The judge draws a start-of-suggestion card that says "Superheroes." They decide to play it as "I like the way superheroes..."
- Player suggestions:
- Player A suggests the finishing card: "...always wear their underwear outside."
- Player B suggests: "...save the day but can't do laundry."
- Player C suggests: "...have the best lines during battles."
- The judge's decision: After reading the combinations aloud, the judge decides that "...always wear their underwear outside" is the funniest and awards the start-of-suggestion card to Player A.
This expansion can be played independently or combined with the base game for extra variety.
